OX5 Run

This event was for Oxford Children Hospital Charity. I ran 5 miles 5 months after a 12 hour open heart surgery, spending 3 months in hospital to treat endocarditis and repair a hole in my heart. I have had 5 open heart surgries throughout my life, with 3 of them coming while a child within the Children Hospital. This was a small way of me saying thank you to the hard work they do on a daily basis, I can confidently say i would not be here today, be this acitive, or had the life i have had if it wasnt for those that looked after me while being treated in the Childrens Hospital.
